Most of the current MMOs are aimed towards Western and Eastern markets. I think it's fair.
Well, it also has governmental involvement in that the company are backed by the Abu Dhabi government.
It could lead to some significant steps in the Arab world though for gaming. I can imagine that the money would be very appealing for developers. We may see some new studios crop up if this is successful.
I'm sure it'll be fine. The Arabian business world seems to be quite modern, hence why it is open to the idea of generating games aimed at Arabian players.
I wonder if the once very strong playlists will soon be replaced by legit players duking it out in private matches.

FYI, Eurogamer's MMO section re-reviews MMO games to keep reviews fresh.
Darkfall was increased a whole two points from 2/10...and the Grand Slam Tennis copy was due to their Debug unit being faulty.
In the case of the AoC re-review, not a lot of sites put in that effort. In the case of Darkfall, it went from 2/10 to 4/10. Wow. At least they re-reviewed. And as for the debug unit, that can happen to any gaming sites.

I absolutely loved the original and spent hours upon hours in it. Forza 2 was just more of the same and really didn't do much for me. This looks like it could be what the series needs!
